Abstract: This textbook is designed for the students at the eighth- and ninth-grade levels. It contains a series of concepts for citizens of democratic societies, such as freedom, responsibility, justice, active citizenship, leadership, tolerance, responsibility, and the separation of powers. The final part of the textbook guides student involvement in community service learning. This textbook is a citizen instruction–based program. It includes pictures drawn by students and utilizes an interactive teaching approach.
