Abstract: This is a set of professional learning resources for primary and secondary schools distributed to all Australian schools. As an integrated package it was designed to assist schools to produce a comprehensive program in values education. The conceptual basis is the document National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools. The kit appears to have enjoyed limited support in secondary schools though is more popular in primary schools. It must be recognized that this was a government initiative with a deliberate intention to address the teaching and learning of values generally, including those associated with civics and citizenship education, to a large school population.
