Abstract: This study presents the theory and practice of interactive methods in civic education. The study investigates the uses of group work for civic education and explores the role of the teacher as a facilitator and trainer at every stage of the civic education process. In a special section, more than two hundred exercises and all basic interactive methods and techniques are discussed, and recommendations are made about how to use them in civic education.
