Abstract: This curriculum guide has been developed within the framework of TEMPUS AC-JEP 14149-1999 Multicultural Education: Teaching Tools, and Teacher Training. The following universities cooperate in this program: Comenius University, Slovakia; Constantin The Philosopher University, Slovakia; University of Oulu, Finland; Leicester University, England; and University of Paisley, Scotland. The guide includes the following parts and chapters: curriculum objectives; starting points of multicultural education in Slovakia; the sense of multicultural education; intercultural competencies of a teacher; the content of multicultural education; and the course of multicultural education.
